What this scan checks
Every paid channel and every analytics decision depends on tags firing once, on the right pages, with consent handled. This scan reads the homepage HTML and inline scripts and looks for the signatures of the common tags.
Why it matters
Double-counted conversions inflate ROAS. A missing Google Ads tag means Smart Bidding is optimizing to nothing. A Meta Pixel with no consent mode is a compliance problem in the EU and UK. We see at least one of these on roughly half of the sites we scan.
Limits
This is a static HTML read. Tags injected after user interaction, or only on inner pages, need the connected GA4 and Google Ads scans. Those are Level 1.
What to do with the result
Pick one source of truth. If you use GTM, remove the hard-coded tags. Set consent defaults before any tag loads. The Growth Audit includes a full tag plan.
